Yesterday was a busy day at Brents Guitar Emporium!

I received 2 killer axes!

1. 1976 Gibson Les Paul Standard. This is a factory humbucker Standard. 3 original pots date 76. Typical appointments for a mid 70s Kalamazoo Norlin. 3 piece maple neck, 3 piece plain maple top on a pancake mahogany body, rosewood board, and single ply cream binding. The original T-tops are gone but a SD JB and a Seth lover produce a wonderful tone from this HEFTY LP! The neck is on the slimmer side. Grovers added. Non original bridge and tailpiece. The frets are VERY LOW!!!!!! No breaks. Too bad that someone drilled a hole for a coil split toggle...oh well...lol.

2. 2019 Knaggs Kenai. I found this guitar locally in Kalamazoo, just by luck. This guitar has the whole package!! Tone, playability, looks!!! You can't help but stare at that beautiful quilted maple top!!! The attention to detail is just incredible...the multi ply binding, inlays and fit! And its only 8 lbs!!! The neck is a nice rounded 50s style...not a baseball bat. Pickups are Bare Knuckle SS Stevie Stevens. This baby has a warm woody tone!!! Sets up like a dream!!! Fretwork is perfect. The design of the Kenai just feels right...very comfortable to play!

You can probably find a lil rubber/plastic plug that would fill that hole in the LP if you feel like fuckin with it

I would leave it. Shit like that on guitars like that tell a story, and leave a bit of intrigue.

Congrats man that guitar is a killer player and the hole is fixable in the right hands.

Only fools are paying that much, the market is way way out of control.
People pay $6k for wizards regularly on here and no one cares. Larry’s amps are even more. I rescued a killer guitar in killer condition from a collector and everyone loses their minds.

At the end of the day I got a badass LPC that checked all of my boxes and that’s all I care about.
