Ahhh. That’s pretty shitty.
 
The reason I personally defend Fractal is that they hooked me up years ago when I first got my Axe-Fx II and had an issue with something in the unit that made it inoperable. I contacted support and within hours they had me a shipping tag for the old unit, sent me a new one, apologized for the trouble, etc. and all I had to do was provide proof that I had actually bought it months prior. Within like a week and a half or two weeks I had all of that sorted out and a new amp in the house.

I'm not taking a side with either view but businesses are not easy to run because it is hard to make everyone happy. Like I said, I get the waitlist thing but if every once in awhile they release one out of 50 builds that is charged at a higher price, let someone pay it. Of course it is unfortunate that idiots buy them just to flip them like scalpers. Not a fan of that personally.

Did you guys receive an email stating your Axe FX III is ready to be bought or something?

I'd applied real early, around the first day the waitlist opened, and received the email confirmation... but nothing else yet. :confused:

I'm ready to buy this bad-boy, but not at a $1000 premium on their website.

I got mine last week. Got the purchase invitation & ordered on March 22nd. I had signed up at 9:26am eastern the first day of the waiting list on 1/29/18. The list had started about 8:15am that morning.

People who got purchase invitation emails today had gotten on the list between 11 & 11:30am according to the invitation thread on the Fractal forum. So it has taken about 2 weeks for the list to move 2 hours. Check the exact time you got your confirmation & you should have a ballpark for the time you have left...

Its going to be a long one I think ,they are at 1:30 on day one Jan29th ,and just had to restock,
