great job man. as similar as expected but you can hear the individual tones shine through still. I have to say, the higher power amps really do sound consistently bigger to my ear. I think the lunchbox amps are great for guys at home or for travelling to rehearsals and gigs, but in the studio I do find them a tonal compromise compared to their bigger versions

Couldn’t agree more. I’m mostly recording these days, and am yet to find a small bottle/small iron amp that delivers like the big boys.
With so many available methods these days to tame a 50 or 100-watter it seems like a no-brainer really.

Thanks guys! It's always interesting to me when people say they can't hear the differences between the amps (this always happens when I make these types of videos). It's one of the reasons why I don't stick them all through the same cab... I hear very big differences between most of the amps. Sure, some of them sound very similar, like the ENGL Fireball 100 and 25 for example, or the Invectives but my Dual Rectifier sounds VASTLY different than any of the Oranges or the Wangs 1987HW to name a few.
In some cases this probably has to do with the gear that those people are listening on. Phone speakers do not cut it... I also think that the similarities that people hear aren't in the amps so much but more in the fact that it's the same guitar each time, the same pickups, takes, baking tracks. But in this way you do get to hear how these amps function in a situation where it matters the most: a full band mix! I might also make an isolated version though for people who want to hear the amps by themselves.

To be fair, the ENGL amps are just REALLY good in this. They are very hard to beat in terms of clarity and punch!
