One like for Scott Peterson

Stumbled over this post at FAS. Sadly I am an Anti-Crist there and on TGP so I could not share my appriciation of his post. So have to do it here.

Both are solid units; I've worked with the KPA through clients. I prefer the Axe-FX II across the board for a myriad of reasons, but both are legit professional level boxes.

I'm almost the Anti-Christ on the Kemper forum because I use the Fractal; though I've never said one bad word about the KPA. That sort of thing, I do not go in for. The amount of vitriol that can come up due to owning another piece of gear is like opposing sport team fans almost; if you "play" on the other team they hate you. It's amusing and sad at the same time.

The need to defend a piece of gear is likewise overblown; I foolishly undertook it for years trying to right what I knew was wrong. Moral: you can't fix the Internet. One of my personal resolutions for the past year is to just let people believe and say what they want, right or wrong. It all makes me chuckle now. No issues here.

Posting on forums doesn't 'win' any argument guys; no matter how deeply you believe what you are posting is the truth. Truth is relative to the other guy's perception. Everything is subjective - perception is not objective.

Now I am curious if he will lift my bann

Yeah he has seemingly chilled out a bit. Especially after that last multiple forum fiasco that started on Huge Racks.... so maybe he's learned to take the knee jerk fanboi mentality down a few notches. He still contradicts himself at times though....which I personally find comical.

I don't hang there a lot so I can't say that I see his posts that often. I only became aware when this link was being passed around the forums. Like I said he has seems to have toned it down a bit. Good for him..... but not good for the entertainment factor.

Ya know, Scott and I have had our beefs back and forth, some bad, some really bad, and some not so bad... I think the guy's a great source of intel given the right context (FAS), and for this, I've thanked him for helping me on numerous occasions. That said, for a guy who has really driven the fact home that the interwebz is this silly make-believe fantastical place where nothing matters and everything kinda reads like the lyrics of Lucy In the Sky with Diamonds, he does seem to take matters rather seriously and speak his OPINION many times over. Which is, well, sort of hypocritical.

He was so butthurt, he made the guy prove he owned them, when the guy did, he couldn't let it go (even though he said he did) and 15 days later he comes back, edits his apology with his "proof" that his LEO buddies turned him onto and gave an opinion on, and bumps the thread so everyone can see what he thought was proof?

Then when he gets called on his proof, he shows that he has no idea what the fuck he's talking about on the "forensic photo data". And if his LEO buddies are real, they don't know what they're talking about either.

I think they are just way too many hypersensitive people on that forum and unfortunately some of those people include the owner of the forum and some are owners of companies and it seems to flow down hill.
