dunno about the guy one way or the other personally--seemed he wanted to be the ultimate say in all things axefx but really it was just a guy with a big forum developing a relationship with fractal to the point where you think he's getting something out of it but won't say.

jay mitchell is a guy i saw as a truly knowledgeable guy, who might have a tough time with bedside manner and comes across condescending, which i get when a bunch of forum monkeys try to tell you that you are wrong about a field you are actually a seasoned veteran in, but the guy truly has experience when it comes to sound equipment and design. is he the final word-no-but give some credit where it's due even if you think he's kinda jerky.

i find it interesting that i brought up the topic of dual concentric speaker design with him, on tgp, (before i was suspended there for having the name Jesus in my good transactions/signature!!!!) being a viable solution to common nearfield problems inherent to 2 way powered speakers, due to my experience with turbosound tq445-dp powerd mains, and even posted the diagram for them, and he sorta dismissed the thought at the time, and here we are with his CLR dual concentric design.

Have moved on...but

We can learn at least one thing of all the Toms, Jays and Cliffs in this world.
We filling their pockets with large sums of cash for (to expensive) china made crap.
And all those christians believing it is still better then the original.

No more money from this ex-believer though....

Before metallica played the oscars scott peterson posted an IN YOUR FACE TUBE AMPS! thread about how the biggest band in the world was using the Snax 2 instead of tube amps, etc. etc. etc.

Anyway after the performance was aired, and they sounded like abosolut shit, he quickly deleted the thread.

some intrepid poster at TPG had copied his text and reposted it and wow was it amazing how that one turned out. It eventually was deleted by admins, but just goes to prove, scott peterson is a HUGE CUNT!
 
There is an instance where all tube amp owners being that it be a Mesa, Marshall, Diezel, Bogner, EVH, ENgl, or whatever, can all join in a big middle finger fuck you to the self proclaimed Axe spokesman.

I used to like TGP, some cool folks over there but it was this kind of board drama which stopped me from frequenting the forum.

Wow that's from way back. That's not Scott though. Wasn't that some dude named Dirty something? Funny thing is the black and white picture on the label was something I did in Photoshop a long time ago.
