One of my Dream guitars as a Kid back in the mid 80's....

That's cool that you still have your first guitar! I wish I still had mine, an original "Memphis LP Copy"! Best sounding piece of plywood I ever owned!

I also had an MIJ Squier Bullet in black!!! It was 1989-ish, so it no longer had the Tele-style headstock. It's the only guitar I've ever sold off, and I still wish I had it.

I always wanted a Peavey Vandenberg. When my parents finally saw that I was really serious about playing, they got the money together and we went to Nadine's Music in Hollywood to buy one. They were sold out of Vandenbergs! I could have held out for one, but somehow the salesman talked me into a Charvel Model 5. That guitar has been good to me over the years and it's what I cut my teeth on. Still have it.

About 15 years later after finishing college and getting a decent job, I found a great deal ($350) on a sweet pink Vandenberg on eBay!

The Vandenberg is gaudy.

I would have no problem owning one

I always wanted any of Lynch's guitars, a Kramer Nightswan and a BC Rich Ironbird.

Still have my 1988 Lynch Tiger!!

I always wanted one of those Ibanez Destroyer II guitars like Adrian Smith played in he Videos from " Number of the beast."
