OneControl White Loop Problem/Question

Hey guys... I got the White Loop for my A/B videos. But I'm having a problem...

When I connect my drive pedals to it, there is a bad shrill/strident noise, like a feedback, if I set the gain and tone close to max. It does not happen when I use only my drive pedal, without the one control. And I checked all cables and supplies, they're good. Only happens when I use my pedal drives (any of them) in the White Loop. Can anyone have an idea?

Also, I opened the pedal and there is this little device inside... O don't know why is that. Does anyone?

The high pitched whistling sounds like traces or wires being too close in the box with one carrying a high gain signal. The device looks like a spring loaded ground connector for the bottom plate, but I am not sure.

Thanks for the help, man.
Actually, I think I will not use this pedal anymore.
