Bearing in mind I'm 24 and don't have too much disposable income... here are my rigs! Anyone have any advice or positive criticism?

Do you have specific purposes for each one?

Does it really make a difference? I've heard people say yes and others say no. I use the deep button and presence on the EL84 and that makes a huge difference

With some amps it can improve the tone, with others it can take away some of the tube 'feel'. Does add clarity but also makes some amps more solid state like. Cheap enough though..I think you can grab one for like 50 bucks. And if you don't like it throw it in your bands PA rack......HilltopExplosion":3tj5j7os said:mixn4him":3tj5j7os said:ghosty999":3tj5j7os said:mixn4him":3tj5j7os said:Find an old BBE 442 or 462 and use it after the MP1, you can thank me later![]()

I went to the local music store in 94, the guy there said "Check this out, I just got a shipment of these in" I asked "What's it do?" he said "Makes everything sound killer"... We ran a BBE 462 through the fx loop of a 5150.. first we had the amp sound good, (which was easy) then hit the fx button. I couldn't pull cash out of my pocket fast enough. It wasn't overly processed, which is easy to do with the BBE, just gave it a bump, and added clarity. So just add a little, it makes everything more clear. I still use it every day.
