A few years ago I built a real nice Warmoth strat with a Dimarzio Breed set, but regrettably sold it. I remember the pickups being bright (in a good way), tight enough in the bass but feeling loose under the fingers. It's a very versatile pickup. I've always wanted to go back to them but a lot of ceramic pickups hitting the market these days are distracted me from it. Is anyone still using them? How do you think they compare to Dimarzio's more modern offerings?

The Breed is my go-to if I need a thick sounding bridge pickup. Compared to the newer stuff, it's like a Dominion but deeper and a bit less prominent in the mids.

Ah, the Dominion is a pickup I've been wanting to try even more than the Transition or Titan. How's the Dominion neck?

I've only tried the bridge, but the neck pickup seems like it would sound good based on how it's described.
