So..I ended up with a couple of 100 watt heads and got the first one with the intention of having it modded by one of our resident amp guru's here. The amp I got from our own BRENTrocks that you may have seen in the for sale forum and a nice Super Lead clone it is and like I said...was/is going to be a mod guinea pig. This week I ended up with a 1978 Marshall JMP Super lead that's been modded a bit already but just a master volume and a couple of caps is all. My quandary is...Which one to get modded? I'm thinking the easier one to be modded would be the clone since it's hand wired and turret board construction making it easier to pull and swap parts and pieces in and out. The Marshall of course is circuit board type as you all know. I can't decide which one to get torn apart and thought I'd ask the group their thoughts?? ;)

Guinnea pig first, I guess

Mod them with that cool, yellow box that Boss makes.

I'd mod the Marshall. Is already modded so just tweaking it and modded Marshalls are badass.

+1 on the Marshall. They are consistently the best result.

If someone is going to do a proper mod it doesn’t matter if it’s PCB or not. The board needs to be lifted anyway.
