OPINIONS. SAVAGE 120 vs. BLACKMORE

Basically the title says it all, I would like to hear some opinions and comparisons on the two. I've heard over and over the Blackmore and Savage are very similar, so I'm quite curious. Now I have owned 2 different Savage 120s previously, and I sold both of them to pay off some bills, (I ESPECIALLY regret selling the last one, WarriorOfMetal bought it off of here), and since I just fofloaded my SE, I'd like either a new Savage, or from Megadeth's reccomendation, a Blackmore. What are your opinions on these 2 different amps compared to each other? Thanks dudes.

I'm on my second Savage 120 myself. I definitely like the newer version of the savage 120 since it has leds in it now and has different stock tubes. It makes the amp quieter, sound like it has more gain and has more low end. I haven't played a blackmore but you could ask lord riffenstein or smith since they have owned both. If I remember right, the savage has a little more gain and doesn't sag as much as he blackmore. Yet the blackmore is more open (less compressed) than the savage.

Yeah, I've heard the new Savage 120's sound better now. I may have to just go with a new Savage 120, because I LOVED the old ones I had, so if they improved upon that sound, then damn, that' be killer. I tried, REALLY REALLY hard to like the SE more than the Savage 120, but for the overall band mix, the Savage sounds better. It just really does. I should've never sold my last Savage in favor of keeping the SE, but you live and learn I guess. I do love the modded out 5150II I got though, so both the Blackmore and/or Savage 120 I get is going to have to man up to those, and that isn't going to be an easy task.

I was thinking about an Invader as well, but it's a bit more than I want to spend on another amp right now. Maybe if I could find a good deal on a used one I may consider it, but I can't justify a new one right now.
