in my opinion this is one of the best amps ever made.
i love the 6v6gt characteristics and think this will age well compared to the el/6l versions
i switched out the 6v6gt with NOS 1960's sylvania and 1950's RCA and national preamp / effects loop tubes.
beastly.
looking back i would have been better to get the head. open back can make extended range guitars sound a bit hollow.
but on a 6 string ive never heard such organic and nasty distortion.
cleans are heavenly to my ears.
reverb is hate it or love it but i find it useable.
