Would love to know the cocksucker that "worked" with Nic on this awesome amp he is delivering to the masses.

You reading this cocksucker?

Yeah you are...................

I do think the Chupa is somewhat bright. I tend to run my amps dark to begin with. But, with the new Cameron stuff coming out, I may keep the Chupa, sell my Metro and Ceriatone JCM800 and check out the new CCV, Jose or Aldrich about to hit.

how much darker is the Yeti? Is that the only difference? I don't find the Chupa to be overly bright or anything.
Was talking to Nik a few weeks ago and he said the Yeti was less bright and a tighter sounding amp than the Chupa he also said it cleans up to a Vintage plexi much easier....Sounds like a cool amp

Then he copied it wrong if it does not clean up well..............................any hot rodded marshall cleans up without an issue.

Fucking jackass

I spoke to Nik and the amp should be finished next week, can't wait!

Good choice. ;)

I think my next amp is going to be a Yeti. Might sell the Chupa since I like a darker sound. But man, it's such an aggressive amp. Love it!
Before you do you should talk to Nik, there is a way to convert the Chupa into a Yeti by replacing a few components

Yeah man; Jim Marshall - What an asshole. He stole from Leo Fender. Seymour Duncan,Dimarzio; they should all be locked up. And that Alexander Grahm Bell; ripped of Marconi or whoever it was. Fuck Dave Thomas too; taking Ronald McDonald's idea...

The Chupa is definitely on my list of "Someday" amps. Loved the way it sounded at Lugo's studio.

I demo'd my Yeti to a bloke I sold an Orange 212 to (just to show him how the cab sounded)...he like how the amp sounded, asked some questions and ordered a 50w Yeti the next day. He recently PM'd me to say it was the best amp he'd owned in 25 years of playing guitar...he said he'd owned alot of amps in those 25 years.

I reckon they are killer amps whether or not Nik 'borrowed' a schematic. So bloody cheap too.

Let us know what you think!

Is the Chupa/Yeti more of a Fortin or a Jose/Carmeron/Friedmen/insert name here style amp? I've read confilicting reports on this issue.

It's a Jose master but as for who's mod it 'uses' I have no idea. Nik obviously tweaked the Yeti slightly compared to the Chupa but he likely also tweaked that from whatever it started from too.

It sounds to me closer to a Friedman/Cameron than a Fortin from clips I've heard on YT but it's just my impression!

I've had a few people tell me my Chupa sounds like a Fortin. But I've never played a Fortin nor a real Cameron/Jose/Friedman, so I can't comment.

Your drummer has a Yeti?! I can't even find a drummer let alone one that owns cool guitar amps...
