What is the best way to route a pickguard for a humbucker?

what tools do you have? If you have a router the best way to do it is with a laminate trim/pattern following bit and a router. Otherwise you can open it up with a dremel or scroll saw and then clean up the edges with files.

I was worried about a router/dremel melting the plastic as opposed to cutting it.
(I have both)

I assume this is for a strat?

Why not just get one from Warmouth or fender.....

I like the OEMs (they fit better), but i can't find a H/S/S in parchment :(

I would use the dremel or router, I would go with the router personally, but thats me. How's thing's up in the great north, I haven't talked to you in a while. Any new gear since the cameron(or mod)?

Not if the bit is sharp.
