That's really all I drink anymore is bottles of water with random kinds of drink mixes. They all have 0-10 calories, no carbs, and they taste great to me. I usually buy Iced Tea mix since that's my favorite drink.

EDIT: If you buy that Propel Gatorade Water in the drink mix version, it doesn't really have any calories or carbs.

unsweet tea is a great alternative if you like tea. The problem with tea though.. is some places tea sucks some is great. But if you find a way to make your own that is great to you it can be as addicting as a coke without the sugar or carbs.

I stopped drinking pop/soda 4 or 5 years ago. I was a Coke and Dr.Pepper fanatic for years.
I don't particularly like sweets. I never crave chocolate or desserts, but soda was my thing, I guess.
I have a water cooler in my kitchen that has the greatest tasting water. That's pretty much what I drink. I also drink Powerade, milk, coffee, and beer.
Not all the healthiest choices, but cutting out the soda and increasing my water intake has done a lot for me as it is.

ps - I'd bet eleventy billion dollars that I could tell Coke Zero from regular Coke in a blind taste test, every time...

Yeah, it's not exactly the same, but Coke Zero is pretty damn close, and the other one, C2, was pretty good (not sure if they make it anymore).

Anyone ever have Coke Blak? It was like Coke and coffee mixed....not bad.

I can as well. I had a college psyc class and I was the only one to determine the difference between coke/pepsi, sprite/7up, etc, with a blindfold and a my nose pinched. I also had to say what it was right after drinking it. ...yeah, I am a soda drinker :aww:

I can easily tell the difference between Coke and Pepsi. I don't drink Pepsi anymore because it's like drinking candy. And to go one further i could pick out RC Cola from Coke and Pepsi. You can tell i have drank way too much soda over the years. All my fillings are a testament to that.

I can't tell 7up from Sprite though. And they may as may call Mountain Dew something like Cocaine in a can since it's loaded with caffiene.

I start my day with coffee till about noon. Then I drink a lot of iced green tea and Glaceau VitaminWater. There's a lot of good flavors and the stuff is good for you! After work I of course switch to beer :) I RARELY drink soda. I really only drink it if I go out to eat. For some reason coke goes really well with chinese food and pizza to me.

I love Crystal Light. My fav is their Raspberry Green Tea

I'm doing like everyone else and been trying to cut soda/weight.

I don't like the taste of regular water.

Bought a bottle of lemon juice, put a squirt in with my water.
Tastes like weak lemonade. But no powder, calories, carbs, sugar or anything.

Lime juice would work too I guess, both are in bottles at the grocery store.
But you can how ever much you like.

I also try Root beer when I HAVE to have a soda.

i dont know man if your serious then just man up and drink the fuckin diet coke. i mean for christ's sake its diet soda not chopped liver, stop being a baby.    ............... :gethim:

Buy one of those industrial water coolers and stick it in your kitchen. It will be the best thing you can do for yourself, it's so convenient you honestly can't help but fill up a number of times a day. I used to drink soda, and now I drink practically nothing but water and milk, mostly because of the convenience of the water cooler.

Yes, they have just as much, sometimes more sugar than soda.

I didn't stop drinking soda only to reduce my sugar intake. The main reason was that I didn't want to drink carbonated drinks anymore.
I was getting leg and muscle pain rather quickly after physical activity. I was then told it was because of the vast amount of carbonated drinks I was consuming and the lack of water I was drinking. My muscles were drying up and not functioning properly.
No pop and increased water intake eliminated the problem.

my drinks of choice

coffee
espresso
diet coke
diet 7up
diet dr pepper
tea
bourbon
gin
beer
champagne
club soda
perrier
gerolsteiner

I'm really trying to stop drinking Coke everyday.

Coke Zero. Dude - it tastes exactly like real corn-sweetened coke and has no calories and no sugar. You won't be able to tell the difference in a blind taste test. Try it!

Steve

I suppose if he's trying to be healthier, it's also good to know that even if it has an artificial sweetener in it, any soda product is going to be hell on your teeth. That stuff has a PH around 3 (very acidic). I'm trying to cut back myself, but it's hard to do IT stuff without 44oz of Mountain Dew every day...

Jeez Danny, Coke is fkn Awesome!!! Why the hell would you ever stop...
wait... Oh... sorry..
Misunderstood the topic....

I prefer Lipton iced tea mix when I'm not mainlining Gatorade... I always have a batch cranked up at home, an I throw about 2-3 tablespoonfuls in the average large water bottle when I'm goin out with H2O in tow... Shake it up an ur good to go... but thats just cause I live on the stuff... it's prolly way too much work if your not addicted to iced tea..

I cant believe I'm talking about Tea mix... I gotta get a life.... :aww:
