Great to know. Lifestyle change is the answer if you want to lose weight and get back in shape.
But as we grow older, it's hard to change your lifestyle (e.g. home, eat and work). Just try to do
it by little increments and collectively, it will impact your life down the line.

Good luck man.

Just an update, I'm down to 195 now. 66 pounds lost.

Badass Bro!

I know it feels freakin' great.

I've cut back to about 750 calories a day, all protein, and have started working out a good 3-4 days a week. I'm down 108 lbs since I started in May, and I feel great. No more blood sugar med, no more blood pressure med.

Keep it up mang

Damn man, 108 pounds is crazy. Congrats on that for sure.

Great job.

FWIW, when that show The Biggest Loser in on I'm addicted to it   Great show and it's wild to see how much weight those people can lose. Next season there's going to be a guy around 20 years old that's close to 500lbs. If he doesn't get voted off i bet they get him down to 250.

Thanks Dan! I watched the first season of that show but haven't seen any other ones. That Jillian chick is real hot. :D

That's definitely a lot of weight! I didn't care at all about eating healthy when I was 16.

I'm down to 205 from over 270 in less than a year.
No more blood pressure meds for me either and blood sugar is normal, all from diet.
Congrats Mark! It feels really good doesn't it!

For sure man. Congrats to you as well. Losing weight FTW!

Kudos. Never coulda guessed you were that big. Maybe I saw your older pics when you were smaller?

I've tried pretty much everything you can imagine. I've never been above 192 which was way too much for my height (5'7"). That's when I busted my ass for two months and went down to 175. Then school started again and I was 182 2 weeks ago.

Right now I'm down to 179 again. AND I'm on vacation (aka I eat out everyday) Best part is, I found a great way to lose weight. It's so obvious but I could never do this before. I eat EVERYTHING. I mean EVERYTHING. Junkfood, salads, candies. But in moderation! I've learned to stop myself. I eat 3 slices of a large pizza and I can stop myself. It's never been easy to that for me before. The feeling you get when you leave a restaurant with a stomach that's not full all the way is really great. You don't feel hungry. You don't feel full to the point where you wanna throw up. You feel just right and feel energetic.

Once I go back home, I'm gonna combine this with weight lifting and running. I wanna go back to 155 (3 years ago when I felt perfectly fit)

Good luck to ya.

Bravo man!! I've just started eating healthier and lessand look forward to the results.

I can't imagine being 155, that would be too tiny for me. I'm 6'1 though. :D

I know what you mean about eating in moderation. I still have problems with that sometimes though, but oh well. Nobody is perfect...except Diora Baird.

Yeah I have a small frame so 155 looks normal on me if I have enough muscle.

If Diora Baird is your avatar chick, I will have to agree! :D

Awesome! Congrats.

Definitely drop Subway. Low quality meat, fed with artificial hormones, etc. etc.

I'd drop processed meat altogether.....that stuff is horrible for you.

Boars Head turkey and chicken are fine, but anything else is junk.
