Now here is the REAL Magical Griffin Jizz .............

"Oh no, it's in my eyes..wait...I can see again!"

I need to contact Mark and find out how he gets them to stand still while he jerks them off...
That's what I was thinking. It took me months to learn to jerk-off without moving.
:D

I haven't quite mastered that myself. It's very tricky.
Thank god you and I never had to sleep in bunk beds.

fag...

LOL! :D
Haha, good stuff.

or bad stuff perhaps, who knows.

/thread hijacked.
lol! :D
This is the kind of thread that should be hijacked!
I concur.

Anyway, anyone else hate Mark Cameron?

There's gotta be a couple guys still waiting for their amps that they sent in 2003...

I mean no real disrespect to Mark by the way. I've talked to him once or twice, and he's always been a nice guy. That's all the experience I have with him.

I do find it ridiculous that he can't get his products out, when some of the other prominent modders/builders have such low turn around times right now

I dont hate the guy........dont even know him.
I think he makes great sounding amps.
Would love to own a CCV one of these days.
I just like to rip on threads for laughs!

Life is too short......need to have some laughs right?
Exactly. I don't know the guy. The clips sound very good. But alot of amps sound very good and I can actually own them without taking a HUGE risk. At the end of the day, there's no magic to any of this crap. People like to feel special for all the wrong reasons. I guess owning a Cameron makes them feel like they're part of some elite club or something...

Oh yeah, definitely Vrad. It seems like MOST Cameron owners (who actually gets their amp) feels they are in the elite of all Amplifiers, and act accordingly

Maybe their just proud that they actually received their amp. I can see that as justified, haha.

Honestly, there are so many high gain Marshall-styled amps on the market. So many options to choose from that I hardly feel the elite status is warranted. Self-esteem issues if you ask me. ;)

Heh, I agree 100%, with companies like Budda and Splawn putting out high quality production models in a TIMELY fashion.

Forget about Budda and Splawn... Especially Splawn. that will just start a debate.

Truer words were never spoken. That is one of the reasons I've "open-sourced" my amp's design... I find the whole "secret" thing laughable...

it seems that most of the men in the cameron club really enjoy talking with him late at night on the telephone for hours at a time and learning about where everyone elses amplifier is. They then think they are so cool because they know the inside scoop and give hintz on the internetz. I'll bet there is even a secret handshake too that doesn't involve hands.

Secret swordfight!

Talking about Splawn is sure to start an argument.

I was going more for the production models instead of mods (hence not including Fortin/Friendman)

Exactly! This shit ain't rocket surgery... Now, you need aptitude and good ears and stuff but there's no magic.

Don't even mention the "S"-word.

And even Fortin and Friedman , being non-production are delivering

On that note... I was over at Curt's (Chubtone) store on Saturday and got to play through a QuickRod and it sounded really good! Nice amp... I'd own one... especially for the price...

Hey btw - I replaced the Dimarzio Super Distortion in that Blue Custom Shop Charvel with a Duncan Custom Custom - man it sounds great!

I am proud to own a few Camerons. I like Mark as well. He is a nice guy and cool to talk gear with. I am expecting my new CCV in the next few weeks.
I don't mean to downplay or talk bad about Cameron Amps/all of the owners. I've liked every clip I've heard of his work, both modded and the CCV. I think his products are fine, besides the pictures that started this thread anyway. I wouldn't be proud to own that one at all, but a non-gooped amp, sure I would.

I'm just saying that a good portion of the Cameron owners talk as if they are better than others. You don't fall into this category in my opinion. You've always been a very cool and informative guy here, and I consider you my friend (although I don't think that's mutual)

  The "S" -word shall be the new official name for Splawn at RT.

And your damn right Fortin and Friedman. I was just making the point that there are some bigger companies that put out standard production models that are worth looking at if you're chasing that particular sound, and they can put out their products much faster than Mark has put out the CCV's.

Who wants me to mod their Marshall?
