Help my Parker Fly wiring is a mess and when I bought it someone previous had hacked into the ribbon cable with hard soldered connections. Went to play it tonight and it is not making any sound. Any ideas on replacement parts or wiring ideas?

You are pretty much shit out of luck in terms of replacement parts I think, I might be wrong but if I recall correctly they dont do the whole ribbon thing anymore. I would just gut it and do something a bit more simple or maybe you can try asking on the Parker Forum.

Think I dodged a bullet. I was able to solder everything back together in a much more stable way then the last person. I will never buy a Fly again without opening that damn cavity or getting a photo of the guts. Damn this pisses me off. To fellow fly owners good luck. I love this stupid sterile axe but it just covers so much ground and is so consistent from day to day. Thanks Stealth for the reply.

Glad you were able to get it back together. If I ever have problems with mine I figure it will just have to be gutted and rewired in a more normal configuration.

Yeah I feel the same way. Parkers are awesome but can be tricky maintenance wise.
