First, that's awesome. Second, how do you heckle someone as cool as Paul?

Volume = win :rock:

He has really great tone on that vid.

Why would someone go to a show for an artist they like, only to be an asshole? Especially Paul Gilbert, who's a damn cool guy? Regardless, Paul handled it well.

Class act all the way... And brilliantly handled

PG's one of my fave guitarists AND teachers, period. Great cat.

Thanks for the post!!

V.

One of the better Youtube clips I have seen recently!

Thanks for posting.

man this is the second time I have listened to a shredder...Aldrich is the other, where I appreicated their playing way way more when they slow down!

likewise who the hell would heckle paul gilbert, such a cool dude,

non guitar related, if you want to own a heckler this is a good example from jimmy carr :

Disappointing. I though Paul was going to jump offstage and beat someone to a pulp with his guitar or something.

Hmm, i didn't think that was really much of a heckle. I mean, I've seen a million times worse like Nickleback getting hit with flying debris.

BUT, is it just me or does Paul have his best tone ever. It's nice and thick. He used to always have a thin metallic tone but he sounds soo much better now. And he seems to have such cool phrasing as well.

Since he already had the best chops of anyone, since he's added great tone and he's doing more than just shredding, he could very well be the best rock guitar player on the planet.

Hell yeah..........that's more like it :boxer: :boxer: :boxer: :boxer:

Gilbert has wood! Really, when did he get such a woody tone?! He's sounding more expressive now too...maybe it's true, great tone inspires great (er ;) ) playing.

Like mentioned already, I personally wouldn't label that "heckling" either, but still, was delt with in an entertaining manner because it seemed spontaneous, not like some canned response he uses every few times somebody is a little rude.
