Paul Gilbert new album Wrock

I cannot get into these songs at all. I still spin Fuzz Universe once in a while though. I know he's an incredible guitarist but I just can't get into his music or his singing.

Is anyone picking up this album?

Yeah, I want to like this guys stuff, but he's not making it easy for me.
The band sounds good, but the vocals, melody and the visuals just seem so lame

There are actually a few songs on it I really like. Listening to the actual album, rather than YouTube live clips help.

I’ve owned a few PG cd’s from way back when and have always been a fan but this new album didn’t win me over on first impressions - I do give it massive bonus points these days for it sounding raw and genuine
