Pawn Shop Buy - Royal Atlantic RA100

I found a Royal Atlantic at a pawn shop today for $1000 + tax. I didn't have all of the cash, so I laid it away Crazy amp.

Congrats! They are great amps. I just wish it had separate gain knobs and a presence knob.

I think they stopped making them. I played it for 20 or so minutes. It currently has 6L6s in it but it comes with a matched set of EL34s. It sounds insane with the 6L6s in it. I really like the power soak but the tube reverb sold me.

I have one. It's my only amp at the moment. I really dig it. Could it be better? Sure. For my needs, it's great. The built in power soak really works well and the reverb is some of the best that I've personally played in an amp.

I had a 2x12 combo that I ran in a w/d/w rig with a 2:90 and 2 4x12 cabs. It sounded MASSIVE.

Saw Intronaut play last night for probably the 10th time. Both guitarists play the RA 100. They are all over all 3 channels and all tones sound totally awesome.
