Peavey Replacement Headshells

Do any of you guys know if Peavey sells replacement headshells these days? I think I emailed them a couple years back and they said no. I was thinking of sprucing up my 5150. Mojotone wanted like 4-500 for a 5150 style headshell and no way am I going to do that for a 5150.

I may just redo the tolex myself although I have no experience or clue on what Im doing.

Tell them it's for a Chinese 6505, and see if they don't change their tune. They're the same.

Yeah I thought about doing that. I took the chassis out yesterday with thoughts about doing a few of the Cameron mods posted here but after digging out the components to do it I decided against it. I really dig this amp more than the 05+ I had. I had to boost and put an EQ in the loop before I was satisfied with the tone. This one seems to just need a boost. I was thinking of selling it but now I really would like to just spruce it up and keep it. For a $600 amp it certainly punches above its weight class in my opinion.
