Ain't no VTM, but not bad for a cheapo solid state amp. With some eq adjustments I'm pretty sure I could dial out some of the harshness and warm it up a bit.

Not bad. If you ever find the Supreme 160, give it a shot. Really super heavy and agressive, decent clean channel too.

I had one of those about 15 years ago. Should've held onto it.

Made a few adjustments and added the Marshall TV cab.

That sounds way better with the Marshall cab. I wouldn't be ashamed to use that rig live if I were playing metal.

Agreed and thanks for the comments sutepaj!

That amp sounds a lot better than a lot of $2500 metal amps I am hearing these days, that's a nice cab but shit. People don't want to give these clips love because they know it sounds better than the shit they are playing.

I have a peavey special 212 redstripe cut into a head that sounds better than more expensive amps. Warm, loud, and awesome eq. 3 main sounds with 3 modes each. Sounds great into most 4x12s

That made my day, thanks man!

Now that's one Peavey I have yet to play. Sounds like something I would like.

Think an xxl with a pot to control resonance instead of presets. I believe it is 160 watts. Both gain channela are stellar and the active eq makes the amp extremely versatile. Using external cabs instead of the combo's speakers also make a huge difference
