Hey fellas. Posted this one last weekend but figured I'd throw it up here, since this amp seems to get a fair bit of love.
I've owned a bunch of these amps, and aside from the Black Face/Silver Logo VTM 60 I had 2 years ago, this is the best sounding one I owned.
I bought it for $200 shipped because it had bad filter caps and power tubes.
Had the caps replaced, whole amp checked out and cleaned up, and fresh power tubes put it, and now she rips. I'm into the amp for $325 total at this point. No complaints on my end.
The dipswitches always made this a really interesting amp. I want all in and flipped all of them on towards the end of the video. Wouldn't you know it, it definitely has some shades of 5150 in the tone. Really enjoyed this one!
