I thought this was about instrumental albums?

Steve

I ignore context and blurt whatever comes to mind.

Coincidentally, I've posted in a few threads and the posts didn't show up. Subsequently, I think there's a problem with the clustered muffler bearing on the elastic slip turner that configures the security group.

I have to think that Criss Oliva era Savatage falls in here somewhere...

Ok, I am going to get shit on for this but I say Joe Satriani The Extremist.

My reasons it was a very commercial successful album that was straight instrumental in the early 90's when the music business had turned anti-glam/soloist etc.

The album was so successful it was used in main stream advertising and it appealed to the general populace at a time when "hair metal" was viewed as a joke. It defied the industry and genre stereo types.

My vote goes to that... sorry.

Edited to add I thought we were talking about instrumental albums also.

Any Tosin fans here?

As well, Stef lays down some exceptionally heavy riffage on Koi No Yokan (Deftones).

John McLaughlin & Steve Hackett should be mentioned in here too; whatever albums you want, they're all win.
