Mostly agree with you here, but I wouldn't want to be footing the bill with my tax dollars. I just wouldn't trust the government to handle everything. They'd probably do something stupid like set it up similar to Obamacare. The middle class would be taxed to hell to pay for gov't childcare while fully paying for their own childcare. It would probably double the cost for taxpayers too. The same people who are on welfare would likely continue to receive it plus get free childcare.

I also see a big potential for nationwide Somali daycare fraud.

Now, if it were set up proper I'd be more in favor. Make it where no one could double dip on welfare & childcare. Government pays only a portion of childcare and parent(s) pay the rest. Show your kid is regularly attending daycare. And maybe have some form vouchers or something that doesn't give the money directly to the daycare so there's less chance for fraud in that regard and parents can choose the daycare they want.

I guess my bottom line is I'd be okay with gov't assisted childcare, but there's a 99% chance the government would fuck it up; especially if it were the dems putting it in place.

I don't believe they were controlled demolitions...people always hide the pictures/footage of one side of WTC7 when trying to sell the planted bombs thing....the entire side of it was gone from one of the buildings landing on it.

I do however think Israel, Saudi Arabia, and neo-con deepstaters either completely orchestrated the attack to varying degrees, or knew it was going to happen and let it play out.

Makes no sense that damage on one side of a building would cause it to collapse straight down. Even the surfside towers in FL that had extensive corrosion didn't pancake straight downward like that. That's something that only happens when key supports are destroyed using explosives.

I should have said “ in theory”. Because you are of course correct. The government would fuck it up. A simple one step thing would be one 7 steps so they could steal money from it.

I don't know why they are whining about this and not shit like the chair of the Air Force getting a $100k Steinway grand piano for his home using tax money. Death by a billion paper cuts.

I remember when that DOGE stuff was happening they were going into HHS buildings in DC and entire floors of 40,000 sq were completely packed with office supplies (that will never get used) so tight they couldn't really move around in them because they just spend on dumb shit to keep their budgets.

Yeah, they tax the hell outta me in TX to pay for schools. Kid shows up from his HS band class with an 8,000 dollar tenor sax. So basically, they are buying students PRS private reserves on my dime instead of student model gear. Unbelievable what a bullshit grift the entire system has become. Wasteful, hedonistic, basically a criminal enterprise.
 
Who do you guys think is eating the ribeye and lobster tail? Sgt Vice Carter and PFC Gomer Pyle? I doubt even a single currently serving person got a bite, it's all Hegseth's crew and Lockheed Martin execs and their underlings. Maybe, just maybe, a token general or admiral was invited simply to make the dinners have the faintest whiff of credibility.

I'd LOVE to see a credible report of who dined on that.

Let's play with numbers a bit. If you're ordering in bulk, make that BULK, $100/plate (just the steak and tail) sounds reasonable, right? We can run it with $200 and $300 later too. $1M divided by $100 is 10,000 plates. That's 333 plates/day in a 30 day month. Or, roughly 150 and 100 per day at $200 and $300 per plate.

Mind blowing.

(check my math please, I did this on the fly in my head and my arithmetic skills are moribund from lack of exercise)
