I just want to say that I downloaded this cd from Amazon as soon as it was available and it is amazing. I have it on constant rotation right now. I have to say that your tone is equally as good as your playing, which is also as good as the songs are themselves. Pete Thorn...you are the man sir!
thank you sir!
I've never bought an album on Amazon, I wonder sometimes if some guys don't dig itunes? Or is it maybe just that it's a better deal on Amazon? Just curious, as I've only bought music digitally on Itunes so far but maybe I should be reconsidering that...
This is a great quest. I started with Amazon for exactly that reason. I used to use Itunes exclusively, and found that I HATED it. I hated everything about it. This was back when there was DRM and bad customer service and terrible software management. I haven't used it in forever so I don't know if it is still the same. I hated how it worked with my Ipod at the time as well, but that is another story. Back to the actual songs purchases.
As soon as Amazon opened, I gave them a chance. I believe they were cheaper and either the same quality or better. There was no DRM when Apple had DRM. That alone swayed me. However, what I really loved was the customer service. I buy tons of music. Sometimes I am too lazy to find old cds that I have stored away and will rebuy stuff..

Well with amazon I once went to buy a mp3 album and was informed that I already bought it. They then asked me if I wanted to redownload it. I was dumbfounded. Itunes never did anything for me, but gave me shit. Apple always argued with me. Amazon was always, "no problem sir, let me reset that for you. " In fact, quite a few times they gave me free credits. I LOVE Amazon. I will always go there first. Look at their cloud drive. 5free gbs. You buy any mp3 album and they extend it to 20gb. Amazon purchases don't count towards your drive capacity.
Maybe Itunes is like this now, I don't know. If they are it is because they have to compete with Amazon, but they sure as hell weren't before when I left. As a consumer when you don't retain....you lose me.
