Faaaaak. Well, it's the right thing to do. I hope - I wish - I must quit.
I did it right after my first son was born. I'd been smoking for 19 years. Oddly, it was very easy, because I knew the time was right and it was the right thing to do - not only for me but for my wife and new child.
Old habits die hard, and I will still occasionally steal a ciggie from a bandmate at a gig, but I don't feel guilty for it. 10 or 15 smokes
a year is not something I am going to stress about. Damn, there's probably more carcinogens in the tomatoes I eat in a year, on account of the chemical fertilizer sprayed on them, then there is in 15 smokes!
