Mesa must be getting tired of the pressure to reissue the mark IIC+.

You can tell Mesa coached Petrucci very carefully on the commentary for the video. \:D/

On my laptop speakers the C+ sounded like it had a little more bottom end/fullness...

Both of them sound good. For me it's very close from the recording.

Doubt I could tell them apart blind. He does promote the shit out of the MKV, but if you read the interviews from guitar mags he says he still uses the IIC+ and numerous other Boogies.

He might wanna go 2 steps down on the dye color?  Doesn't look too natural.

People want what they cant have, it's human nature.. to me if you were blindfolded you can hear a difference, but the character is there, and i personally like the V better, less mushy and compressed. It's also a brand new product that would last longer without a lot of servicing.

Looks like he's getting fashion tips from Steve Lukather.

They sound close no doubt, but the IIC+ is warmer/more organic sounding by a smidge.

I would love to have a IIC+, but in a band situation the V with three very usable channels and other features is a clear winner.
