Phase reversal

Hi Folks

I just go a Smallbox and am trying to use in a two-amp setup. However, when I switch channels on the SB it sounds out of phase with the other amp (not changing channels there). Question is this true, does the phase change when going to the clean mode? If so, is there an easy fix to keep both channels with the same phase orientation?

Thanks in advance!

This is often normal for multi Channel amps. There is not a real simple fix. What the setup your using? Let start there.

I've got...

wah >> EP Booster >> Strymon Flint or Supra-Trem (this is where signal split happens)

side a >> Smallbox input
side b >> Suhr buffer used for ground lift and phase adjustment >> Pink Taco
I'm running a bit of delay and reverb in the PT loop to give a bit more stereo-ness and a wet/dry approach.

I'm toying with the idea of modding the Suhr buffer and replacing the phase switch with a mini-plug. And then modding the SM footswitch to add a 3PDT switch and connect to another mini-plug. This way when I switch the channels in the SB, the phase on the buffer switches too. I just don't know at this point if the switch on the buffer has signal going through it or if it's just a relay - or if that even matters...

Thoughts...?

Yes something like that would have to be done. Not sure on the internals but it could be done with some effort.
