i miss this stuff!!!
You mean someone like Corpsegrinder Fisher? I agree.Fuck man, I love Triumph but I don’t love these covers. A lot of it is the production and sound of it but very much so the vocals. Not knocking Phil and Dee, as I like them very much but I wish they had chosen singers more in the range of Rik and Gil.

Whoever played that has impeccably clean technique but unfortunately no sense of melody and not enough musical sense to realize those modern style licks do not work in this song at all.Solo’s not my thing.
Opportunistic? He’s putting food on the table as the professional he is. If you don’t like him, that’s fine but it’s weird to say a professional guitar player wouldn’t take a paying gig offered to him if it’s in their wheelhouse. Of course any professional musician is looking for any “opportunity” to make some money.Never liked Triumph, and I like Phil X even less. Little opportunistic of Phil isn't it?
Triumph reforms for a few tunes, and there's Mr Phil X cutting in to their dance for "look at me" content. Punk-ass bitch. I have more respect for John Ou.
That was entirely drummer Gil Moose’s idea to invite PhilX back into the foldNever liked Triumph, and I like Phil X even less. Little opportunistic of Phil isn't it?

He is pretty big, isn’t he.That was entirely drummer Gil Moose’s idea to invite PhilX back into the fold
I told you that in strict confidence! That’s the last time I lay it on the line with you!Triumph became my favorite band when Just a Game came out. Lay it on the Line is still one of my all time favorite songs!
