Picked up a new power amp… MosValve MV-962

So I picked up a Mosvalve MV-962 the other day. I am really impressed with it. Right now I am using it as my slave power amp and I find that I don’t need to use an EQ. With my Carvin DCM150, I always have to use an EQ to get rid of the sharp high end.

I paid $80 bucks for it and it is in excellent condition. The store also had a Boogie Strategy 295 for $500 and a Studio Preamp for $400...which seem like good deals.

What was the condition of the 295?

Good condition. I was considering buying it and flipping it. It is a mom and pop type store and I know they wont ship...

Quick several hundred bucks for sure, pre is slightly below market.

Yeah those Mosvalves rock......a local music store gave this Randall RP 2/200 to me for 200 bucks ($899 msrp) spankin new the other day:

Sounds killer with my axefx.......with the cheap deals out there right now I think I may start just collecting power amps in lue of amps..
