If I mod a Les Paul I either go with an old Seymour Duncan Custom or if I want something meaner, the Gibson Dirty fingers is awesome.

Well I ended up switching back the rebel yells. With the Aldrich all your getting is the pickups. They were just too much for me. I must have done something different with the hookup this time because the rebel yells sound incredible now. I also raised the tail bar and the action of the guitar so that may of helped.
The rebel yells are set pretty low and they are very dynamic. Does the les Paul paf thing and the high gain thing to perfection. They are bright pickups though. Let me know if anyone wants a 50mm set of Aldrich pickups.
