Hello everybody,
I have some pictures I would like to share of a new guitar I am currently building for the past weeks, this time a 7 string baritone, enjoy!
This is a gorgeous piece of Salvaged Claro Walnut I am using for the top, the body is one piece premium Sapelli Mahogany:
Once the top was glued to the body, then cut out to shape and the sides sanded flush and clean:
Fitting the double way truss rod...
FSC certified Pauo Ferro Fingerboards once I finished cutting the fret slots:
Cutting the nut slot:
Working on the headstock...
Sanding the radius:
Here pictured when I was shaping the neck with a rasp:
Fitting the neck to the body:
Pickups which have been custom built to match customer specifications, these once have a unique dark flame maple texture/finish:
Drilling some holes...
Routing the rear control cavity:
Sanding the body and neck before the finish...
Pictured with the first sealer coat:
Pictures when is had 8 coats...
