Are you referring to my "Fred Flintstone" guitar?JKD":evq10o6h said:So much nicer than that Liberace version![]()

Yea - I'm thinking of refinishing my other blue 1527 and possibly re-refinishing the 7620.mrp5150":5lhbknid said:Looks WAY better than that ugly blue color IMO.![]()
Thanks. I bought a beltsander and went to town. Most of the time was spent on the side edges and inside the horn area where I had to try drill adapters and ended up doing it by hand. I just finished it yesterday. I'm waiting for my wife to leave so I can play LOUD. Then I'll be able to compare it to my stock 1527 for any differences in sound.EvilBatman":udkf6zca said:Looks fantastic Pete!![]()
Mind telling how you stripped it? And have you noticed a tonal difference?
Thanks. Yea - This definitely turned out best of the three I've done so far. But I like my Rg550 body with a Jem7d neck too.Subclavian":2idcbsn0 said:that looks alot better than your other guitars IMO

Thanks. I was originally thinking of doing a trans black or even brown, but I didn't know if it'd hide the grain - especially since there isn't a whole lot of obvious grain anyway.vchizzle":1fnatkv4 said:Looks great. If you're doing another, I'd do a transblack, kinda smokey lookin' stain then tung oil that![]()
