Way late with posting these, had some people asking about the depth of the scallopes and wanted to show GreasyGeo the finshed result since he sold me the neck.

Left the rust on the trem for that extra mojo Plays great and rings out nice, love this guitar and saved $1400 which is nice. Scored the 2003 YJM loaded pickguard on Ebay, I do mis positions 2 and 4 but that will be for another strat to cover.

Oh yeah, those drums that I bought......

Dont want to hear about the ZBTs....I scored them so stupid low that I dont care they are not premium sounding

PLus they are the rock set you have to hammer them to get stuff out We made smores with the kids tonight and had about 5-6 broken sticks in there to start the fire

Nice. I tend to prefer lighter scallops than the huge, deeper ones. The more wood you can save, the better.

BTW the guitar says in tune very well with the stock MIM trem and Klunston vintage locking tuners, 2+ hour jams I check the tuner and maybe once will tune a couple of strings. The YJM set is LOW gain, way lower than I though and without any boost you really are digging in to get anything fast out. Huge respect for guys like Ant that can burn with these pups. Only problems that I have going sharp is frets 1-4 where the gap between frets is greatest, after that it really is like playing a normal board imo.

Looks like it turned out nice! Man those pics are great, very clear. I have the YJM's in my tele neck/ middle. Pretty cool.

I'm gonna be on the hunt for some drums in the near future. My studio is finally just about done.

The wife's Nikon D60, I have to read the instruction book as you can see I used the wrong setting

Thanks for all your input George, you were right with me going with the 12" radius as 9.5 would have been way more round than I am used to. The tuners are the shit as well, easy to load and they hold tune really well

The drums are Mapex Meridian maple, $999 retail for the 6 pieces and hardware. The hardware is really nice, upper mid level imo and the drums project real well.

DO NOT GET ZILDJEN ZBT CYMBALS!!!!!!! Look in Craigslist for A sigs used

Only about 1-1 1/2 step float, may nail it to the body though as imo the guitar sounds better.

I used the "flower" symbol on the camera, figured that was close-ups Who needs proper aperture anyways
