Very nice - did you do the lacquer?

Nope, 100% Allparts neck. I 0000'd the back to get some of the sticky feel off and it seemed to work, they were not shy about the amount that is for sure.

Neck came scalloped JTyson and George installed the tuners.

one person held the neck and the other screwed?

Maximum coupling.

well I hope that the screwer at least got a reach-around.

That looks great Scott! I would love to try a guitar with a scalloped neck someday. How does it play?

really nice....i've always wanted to check one out.
that yngwie/steve morse video posted recently reminded me of why the yngwie single coil strat + marshall rock tone is just so raw and spitty and COOL. the alcatrazz live sentence has that "i am the best" cockiness in his playing and fiery tone of his i liked best.

and gary moore corridors of power and victims of the future is in that tone neighborhood as well.

Looks great!!!

Now go buy a 30.00 rug at Wal-Mart to put those drums on, or you're going to ruin that floor! :gethim:

Thanks bro, I know you would get your groove on with this fiddle  Plays great but I have to control my digging in as you can get this metallic "TANK" sound if you really get heavy handed. Full step bend vibratos are a snap with this and without control can get way past the wide Sykes vibrato since it is so slinky.

I love it and cannot say enough, it is cool to mix it up guitar wise and this was another way to keep the shed fire bright.

See on top of the drum photo that German Shepherd? She sees one of the cats and she just spins her wheels to chase them and has done no damage, that stuff is some $1 per square floating floor I picked up and it is the most durable shit I have ever seen regarding floor coverings

I do need to get a rug though as some of the crap moves around after awhile with my gorilla beatings
