Playing with my Nutz

I think I called it the Omega Drive ... lol ..... I'll post a pic of the Graphics later on tonight when I get home .

I've done so many pedals ... and have so many pedal projects going at once .... I can easily forget what I called something two weeks ago

the graphics for the new Omega .... it will have red aluminum davies knobs ... on a dark matte grey enclosure

No .... it's bigger .... it's a 1590XX which is 145 x 121 x 39.5 mm

it's literally two pedals in one .... my version is also using through hole components where as the the original is all SMD parts allowing them to squeeze it into a smaller enclosure ..

I tried to get it into a 1590BB which is what the Chiron deluxe is in ..... but there was just no way ... there's a shit ton of parts in this build ...
 
I let my bassist play with my nutz today. He put it on his board and started messing with it. I had to explain what the knobs did before he got it, but once he figured it out, he honed it in pretty quick. He found a part in one of our songs where it fit perfectly. I told him some settings to use and he was amazed. Rolling the bass and treble knobs back narrows the filter and focuses it to a throaty tone that sat in a slow part perfectly.

He wanted me to leave it with him to borrow it for weeks, as well as borrow the CE-MOD again. I'm done loaning all my pedals to him though. I'll let him check them out one more time next week, then he has to buy his own.

Glad you guys are digging it ....... it's pretty cool on guitar as well
