Not sure what you consider "Old School" but this is my 91 RG560... It's kind of a work in progress...  :scared:

It was recovered from a storage unit after hurricane Frances and Jeanne hit us 2 weeks apart in FL back in 2004. It was a friend of mines and the body was beat to hell from something falling on it in the storm. It was originally the "Grape Ice" color I believe it was called. I was working at a body shop painting cars at the time it was painted, it's got a candy red color on it with a very slight gold flake in it that flips the color a bit if the light catches it right. I also removed the inlays and placed rosewood dots in place. They came out about 99% invisible which was the goal. I hate plain old dot inlays. I want to do the same to my Strat soon. Anyway, here are a few pics.

1989 Original JEM77FP (note the pickguard mounted pickups). I'm surprised it's still in this nice of shape after countless hours of play time. I bought this off a GC wall new (NOS) in '90 or '91.

That looks great man! I would think of anything before 98 as being old school.

man, there was a super cool old jem on craigslist san fran for months, I am not sure if it is still there but it was offered at an incredible price. it seemed like there had to be secret damage at the price it was offered at.

I got the 540p's a couple months ago, these are awesome. The neck is wider than on normal Ibbys.

The 565 series are my favorite Shredders ever.

^ the green one and blue one next to it are amazing
Yeah the green one is kinda rare. It's the UV777GR. It's a shame as I don't use it at all, that one is for collecting :( all the other ones I use quite regularly, especially the blue and red 565. Blue is in drop B and red is in drop C

i had a white rg140 which was my main guitar from 87-04
bought it because i was into vinnie moore and jake e lee's guitars-simple axe/furious players.

i slapped a carvin ebony neck on it a few years after buying it and it because an even better player with warmer tone. here is an old vid from 02? playing it at a soundcheck with my egnater tol 100

Here's the SK I just bought off feEbay. Will post real pics when I get it. I am hoping to have some time off this holiday season so I can set the Rhodes up properly and make a few videos!

Are those the guitars Alex Skolnick used to play back in the late 80s?

Yeah they used to say the Skolnick model but he didn't really play them. He was pictured in the 89 or 90 Ibanez catalog with one.

It's a cool looking shape.
