91 Universe that I got in Feb of this year. No NFC's, but a previous owner drilled into the back of the body and put in another strap button. Other than that it's in great shape. Upgraded the block to a brass one and put in a tremel-no. Still no 100% that I'm keeping it. Wanted one for years, and now that I have it, it hardly gets played.
All pretty old school and all going to my grave with me most likely! Now why am I called Ibenhad? All at least 10 or more years old. The Iceman is the oldest probably late 70's.
Here's my "old school" 1998 RG Custom. The paint is called "Jewel Blue", and it shifts from black-to-blurple-to-royal blue. This was my go-to guitar for years, but now I can't play it because the neck is too thin. Coming soon to a "for sale ad" soon...
When the RG 550's first came out in '87 i bought a white one immediately
James byrd of FIFTH ANGEL endorsed them back then.
I still miss that guitar, had a killer neck and was just comfortable to play.
also really loved the stock edge trem. as good as any floyd IMHO.
I have that exact guitar and bought it as soon as they came out. Unfortunately the neck is warped. I will never say it but it is unplayable. My friend tried to fix it but it went right back. I love that guitar and the neck was the best I and many of my friends ever played. I believe Dave Navarro used to play the same one.
