Which Powertubs are very smooth for a Diezel VH4? My first tubes were Ruby EL34BHT.... Now JJ 6l6 and they sound more cold than the Rubys.... Which Tubes can you prefer for a fat smooth warm tone? Thank you
Yeah i know that the Rubys are very smooth. My question is, if it´s possible to get a smoother Sound out of the Diezel VH4... which Powertubes would be recommended besides the Ruby´s EL34BHT?
Omg my english is shitty
I really tried to like the GL KT77's in my Bogner but couldnt get past the brighter top end, rest of it was very rich and almost too much bottom but I didnt care for what it did to the top end and how low I had to run the presence control to not have it be too bright. I went back to my BHT's this weekend and much better for me, fatter, less top end. This was the thrid time I tried the KT77's, 2 different sets. This was not in a Diezel so your mileage may vary. My .02 cents for what its worth.

Indeed, I am certain being a completely different circuit than anything in the Bogner lineage, the Diezels will responds differently to these bottles. Gotta keep it in context. Never know though - I am still a mega fan of =C= EL34s, and also =C= 6550s in the VH4. In fact, fave tube is the SED 6550 for sure
