Yamaha Thr10x.... useful and my neighbors don't mind :D Pretty good tones outta that lil guy... playable and somewhat organic.. not modulated sounding.

I use the rig I plan on using when I play the next gig with that band. Isn't a full band rehearsal at stage volume levels the best opportunity to tweak your stage tone and "dry run" your overall setup?

This...

However, at home I use a variety of things. That's when I get a chance to play with ALL my gear, do I take advantage. It's also when I get to try out different configurations and effects. It's fun to try out different heads, cabs, preamps, power amps, effects, pedals, etc. then, I try out new rigs at a live rehearsal.

Never try using a new rig at a gig BEFORE FIRST using it at live volumes at a full band rehearsal. It's the only way to be sure it will sound and perform the way you need it to in a gig.

That said, I love my Axe FX II and my Kemper for headphone or low volume playing as well as recording direct.

Contemplating this as well.

a digitech gsp1101 usually

otherwise a H&K statesman 50 through a 2x12 at low volumes +pedals, when i'm feeling more adventurous =0

Old iPad with JamUp Pro into a little Mackie and some Yamaha HS50's or AKG K240 headphones. Works very well.

When it's ok to have some volume I use my Axe Fx II and Matrix GT1000 with XiTone passive wedges but if it's late I use the Axe with headphones. But if I'm chilling on the couch or in bed I use my iPhone or iPad with Ampkit.

Well getting your whole rig out of your basement a couple times a week is extremely inconvenient and a huge hassle... That's why I keep my Line 6 combo around until I get a decent combo for practices

I practice and noodle a lot without an amp but I make no practice distinction and practice through this
when using an amp.
