What is your argument here? A reporter got the facts wrong, the story was retracted and corrected. You are citing a source you would likely claim as being an unreliable source under most any circumstances.

It wasn’t a lie. It was a miscommunication. The missiles were manufactured (came from) Russia. If you are concerned they are lying, why do you believe this story?

Where the missiles were from was the miscommunication. The source said “Russian missiles”. The journalist didn’t take the time to check that info. It wasn’t an intentional lie so much as lazy investigative journalism.

It’s a competitive field. For better or worse. Obviously, the journalist should have checked with another source. He wanted to be the first. Kind of like around here and being the first to tell someone to stick something up their butt.
