There has been a big push get get gas out of commercial kitchens which is pissing off a lot of chefs.
We are starting a big student center/kitchen renovation on campus this summer and we are still fighting for propane appliances

I would guess 95% of new builds I do have, not only gas appliances, but gas furnaces, propane A/C units, propane minisplits, etc. I have a building coming up that is five stories, 4 kitchens, and they all are gas. One of the largest expenses was having UNITIL come out and add capacity at the street. The city signed off on it. It is gonna get weird.

we just built two new houses on campus that are all electric. appliances, heat pumps, etc. They actually did really well during the sub zero weekend we just had. pretty crazy. They were semi prefabbed from somewhere in up in NH I believe, Claremont I think.
