Did EVH only play the Ripley on "Top Jimmy"?
cool effects when I listened to it back in the day with headphones.

He also used a Ripley guitar on "Blood & Fire" from the latest album or "Ripley," in its original form.

Did anyone else see the old Marshall-type head hiding behind the sofa in that pic at Ed's place where he signed the body?

Very cool! BUT -- if you read the description, this is NOT Ed's guitar. This auction is for a "Yet to be built" version of that guitar. Still very cool, but it's not like you're buying Eddie's guitar.

Even the photos used in the auction are from the last guitar he built for a client. . .not the one he's going to build for the auction winner.

Still cool buying directly from Steve Ripley though. They are pretty rare and this one New Old stock with custom paint.
Nice for a collector for sure.
