Price check - Krank Prototype

had this for YEARS. Early prototype of a Krank Revolution. Tony has confirmed this is his work. Looks like hell but absolutely rips. Wondering what this would go for? Production Revolution heads on Reverb are $700 - $1000 so....???? Input appreciated. Thanks

Can you get Tony to write you a letter of authentication? I feel like that would go a long way, otherwise it's just some guy selling an amp that says Tony said he made it.

Price wise, it'd be hard to guess. I couldn't give away my Rev+ for $600, but a prototype might be cool for a collector. There's a Krank group on Facebook that would probably eat it up. I'd put it at $2k and see if you get any bites. Realistically, I think it's probably worth $1200ish, but it's the collector you want to find here more than anything.

He used to work at MTroniks here in AZ. You could just walk in and talk to him. I've tried to email him a few times as well, but got nothing back. I kind of get the sense that he just wants to do his own thing and be left alone at this point, but he used to be pretty easy to get a hold of, at least for locals.

it rips and isnt really like anything else i have, id guess it has to do with the kt88's, its just got a different kind of thickness to the mids. the built in ge10 is fun, adding a boost with that is even more fun.

Kt88s do make a big difference. I have a Rev blue modded by Bogner himself that uses kt88s as well . It’s pretty unique . But ya the krank seems awesome
