Problem on the board here. Not a big one, but want to expres

Hey guys .. I didn't know where to post this, but on my mac book pro, when I log in, I get refered to a small mobil page first and then I have to scroll to the bottom of that page and click a button that says "Full size" or something. I didn't know if this was normal, but thought maybe it was because whoever wrote the board software, decided any mac os being returned from the browser must be a mobile type device. Obviously there are mac laptops and desktops and wondering who would want to know this to fix this problem. Thanks

What browser? I tried the site on Chrome, Safari and Firefox. None of these have that issue. How are you accessing the site, exactly?
 
Try logging in from your smartphone and then changing it to full view there. Assuming you've logged on from your smartphone prior.

Hi Code001. I'm using a Mac Book Pro with Chrome Version 37.0.2062.122..

If I do the same on my Chromebook, no problem. Only on my Mac Book Pro for some reason. I'm guessing as an old web programmer it's an include file that forwards folks based on their browser and version, or some javascript, etc, that looks at the OS and does the same?

I can either click on the link that comes in my mail box or I just go to the site rig-talk.com and when I click the link / image on the landing page, I get forwarded to a mobile page, which I have to scroll to the bottom to click "Something like Full Size" or something, then after that, I'm ok even if I leave and come back as long as I didn't loose my session.

Do you have a smartphone you are using chrome on also? If so chrome communicates across platforms so it's probably defaulting to the mobile page if you go to rig talk on your phone regularly. Maybe delete cookies/visit history?
 
I have to change to full site every time I open Rigtalk.
Aaaaaand I have to log in every time I want to post.

Excruciating. :doh:
