PSA: Blades Firebolt available on TGP....

I think I've missed on the whole Blades thing, but is that a cup holder at the top?
 
I love the pics the guy posted... I guess we know there are at least 5 blade amps in circulation out there... or rather, two that were sold, one that was given to Wagener and two more on ebay...... the guy needs to take some gut shots to show the work if he hopes for a sale.
 
Blades sells a nice laser cut aluminum chassis on eBay although some might scoff at it because its a U channel and not a welded up box. He's based somewhere north of me in Maryland and I like the ideas in his amps but I cant get over the tacky looks.
 
The cabinet construction isn't just tacky. It looks like a 15 year old built it. Check out how uneven and wavy the piping is. I can't believe anyone paid for one.

That's because a 15 year old actually did help him build these... :scared:
 
While I agree that the styling is tacky as hell, I have seen very few better promo videos by an amp company. Yes, the visuals may be cheesy to some, but the playing and tones are not IMO. I know that Mike Himmel and Billy Blades had some sort of falling out but I'd guess the large majority of sales Blades has made have been because of that particular video.

I'm not sure how many he has made, but I saw a guy on Facebook got one and his serial number was in the 30's.

I suspect TGP Blades thread will go very well as they drink TGP koolaid and talk cupholders, or in their case "wineholders" ...
 
I kinda want one. But I used to go "hoggin'" all the time in the 80's. Scored so great ass draped in ugly packaging.
