Pulled the trigger on a THD Bi-Valve!

You had me at thicker voice...I've seen that comment before so I'm really interested in checking it out. I bet a tone tubby H-bomb config would flat RULE. Gonna have to 'speriment.

But yeah, NOS glass up front and new JJ's is unreal sounding. I've said for years if it costs me $35 a month to sound good, so be it. A fine tube amp is like a fine car: it requires maintenance. I just want a service interval, damnit! Burn those babies in sacrifice on the altar of Toanz for the love of rock!

What's the wattage of the bi valve? I've wanted a thd for a long time, and my 50 watt bassman is still too loud for some of my projects...

It's LOUD. I'd say as loud as the Rivera M60 with KT77's. Seems like Class A watts are twice as loud as AB watts...

The Bivalve is rated 30 watts.... But how much power & dB's very much depends on what tubes are in it. It is very very different than a Bassman. If you put a set of 6K6 power-tubes in it ... the dB's would be much less than a Bassman.
