Well,
I haven't had much luck selling my Mesa Electra Dyne to help fund an amp. And it's a good amp, just not what I want for dirt. Between that and my pup fracturing a growth plate, an amp seems out of the question, so I'm back on the hunt for the right dirt pedal.
Diezel VH4, KSR Ceres, Megalith Delta, one of the Bogner pedals, Menatone None More Black, Toneczar Openhaus, that Aleks K pedal that Devin Townsend uses, and a few Weehbo pedals are all up for consideration.
As the title says, I want something that is punchy and girthy, but tight. I have a VFE Dragon that helps with tone shaping, and the Electra Dyne is a pretty massive sounding amp as is. I know there is no capturing a Wizard in a box, but something along those lines?
I've had the Diezel box and a Bogner Burnley way back when. The Diezel was pretty damn cool and I'd try one again, just didn't love it for lead work. I switch between fat rhythms and fluid leads.
